"In the episode of Mythbusters were they are testing an engine to try and blow it up, adam asks jamie to rev the engine. After jamie does so adam says "yeah you got it, honey"! Then the camera changes angle to a front on shot of adams face and he mouths "oh". I love this show and have been watching it for 2 years looking for clues, and my expert opinion says we are right on this one. If you want to watch it I think it was the first season, and someone donates a car to them, they use the engine for what I said before, they shoot the door to stop the bullets, and see if a scuba diver can be picked up out of the water and dropped on a forest fire. Well...there are now enough people curious about our boys that there are several groups and journals devoted to it.  The most interesting are coming out of the fan fic/slash crowd.  There is a Yahoo Group devoted to writing homerotic (and other styles of) fan fiction.  This seems to have spawned from a similar LiveJournal group.

In an attempt to get to the bottom (heh heh) of this most important of social issues (Are Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman, in fact, gay lovers?) I consulted the truthsayer of modern American pop culture and all around unquestioned source of, well...everything: The Internet.

For the first time, I watched an episode of Mythbusters on the Discovery Channel last night.  Long before the show ended, I became convinced that the two co-hosts, Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman are not only gay, but that they are in some sort of relationship with each other.  We gay people are so crazy about our levels and names of relationships, that I am not even sure what it would be - buddies? Canadian marriage? secret lovers?.  Suffice it to say that they not only seemed gay, but that they reminded me of my parents, who can be proven to have had sex with each other at least five times.
