I love the radio show Loveline. I even have a thread on this blog wondering about the gayness of co-host Stryker.
So, I was lucky - I guess - to hear the live interaction between Stryker, Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson that blew up the next day as Lindsay's public "outing" as a lesbian.
The ensuing media storm failed to convey the actual innocence of the whole interaction. Stryker's questions about Lindsay and Sam were the kind any friend asks about a happy couple. Lindsay's responses were the typical laudatory comments about how much she admires her partner.
It was especially appropriate because Lindsay and Sam were at a benefit "concert" for the guys who were injured or died in the plane crash (DJ A.M. and Travis Barker, among others.) Sam was performing at the event and you could just hear the pride in Lindsay's voice.
It was the next day that scummy news sources decided to turn this into Lindsay's outing.
Yet, the conversation that got blown out of proportion was...well...kinda nice.
If you had heard the conversation, you would conclude that it was the news sources that looked silly for seizing on something that was handled so matter-of-factly.
