I don’t know when
I realized the dream was over
the longing in my  heart
and  tears in my eyes

The dream has come and gone
and I keep waiting for you
waiting for the birds to sing
biding time in the clouds

Hearing the crows call
Been waiting for you in the bamboo
wind blowing  in the trees
weeds dried and cracked

I don’t know when the dream
went away on the clouds
Stumbling in the dark
Waiting for you in the corner

What  am I to do with my heart
I don’t know when the dream stopped
how do I let you go
Been waiting  such a long time

Where do I put the dream in my mind
When the birds come and say your name
What do I tell them,
How will the clouds know how to be

When did the dream end
What am I to tell my heart
Light has gone
Stumbling in the dark
Waiting for the dream to come back
