So much time is spent on trying to make free time for ourselves that the process basically drains our ability to truly enjoy the moment when we are finally free of obligation. Cell phones, texting, IM-ing, email, etc. are heavy-handed, two-faced culprits in the demise of free time. Enjoying downtime is not so easy to do in this era of technological "attachedness". a brief stop at isla morada in the keys where tarpon gather and jump out at the water if you dangle fish at them

me and pancho at one of the state beaches in the keys where you can walk out at least a 1/2 mile or so into the warm waters and still be only waist deep

it's very much like bourbon street in new orleans but not as crowded

a tropical storm could hit at any moment but it's no reason to run for cover
